Laura Charley creates all her designs in her home studio in Scunthorpe, mainly inspired by nature and the beauty of the world around her. All designs are created by hand using watercolours, inks, acyrlic paints with a flare for colour before being brought into the digital world and printed on materials.
About Me and The Process.
I love to play with colours, layers and forms creating pieces that juxtapose traditional medians and modern techniques. I call on inspiration from the world around me, wanting to communicate the beauty already within the world.
I focus on the creation of larger scale designs that feature painterly marks, drawing and photography in a digitally collaged manner to create a modern twist on the combination of traditional processes and the exploration of digital.
